The Shadowstrix stealth burst build is the PvP king of Mistfall Hunter. Stealth in, burst the target down before they react, and vanish with the loot — the highest-skill, highest-reward playstyle in the game.

Core Skills

• Burst combo: Two skills that chain into massive single-target damage — the kill combo.
• Stealth entry: Your opener. Sets up the burst window.
• Escape movement: A dash/blink/vanish for disengaging after the kill.
• Utility: A slow, silence or gap-closer for finishing fleeing targets.

The kill combo order matters more than any other class. Practice the full rotation until it’s muscle memory — a botched combo means a dead assassin.

Talents

• Crit and execute lines — amplify the burst window.
• Stealth synergy — talents that buff your stealth entry or stealth damage.
• Escape lines — cooldown reduction on mobility skills.

Gear Priorities

1. Crit damage — the burst window is everything.
2. Crit chance — makes the burst consistent.
3. Attack speed — more hits inside the window.
4. Flat weapon damage — for the opener.

How to Play

2. Enter stealth, position — behind or beside the target, outside their camera.
3. Execute the combo — stealth entry → burst skills → finish.
4. Extract or vanish — the moment the target is down, leave. Third-parties love a post-kill assassin.

PvP Tactics

• Ambush at extract points: Targets are loot-heavy and distracted there.
• Third-party fights: Intervene when the winner is low — one combo ends it.
• Never chase through mist: Unknown territory is where assassins get ambushed. Let fleeing targets go.
• Vanish before you’re seen: If a fight turns bad, escape is the Shadowstrix’s best weapon.

Early-Game Transition

The Shadowstrix is punishing before it’s powerful:

1. Level 1–7: Play conservatively — your burst combo isn’t online until you have the core skills. Farm PvE and avoid PvP.
2. Learn the combo in safe zones: Practice the full rotation on Old City Ruins monsters before taking it to Mistveil Crossing.
3. First PvP kills: Ambush at extract points where targets are loot-heavy — a full-bag player is the ideal first victim.

Common Shadowstrix Mistakes
